How To Prepare Spicy Stuffed Capsicum Recipe At Home

No matter where you are living in Spain, Romania or any other part of the world, Stuffed Capsicum recipe is appetizing for everybody in this globe. The spicy texture of the recipe varies from one region to another. Here is an Indian version of Stuffed Capsicum that is very easy to prepare.


Stuffed Capsicum recipe is basically a combination of onion tomato and potato fried together in a non-stick Pan with all the spices embedded within. You can easily prepare the recipe by removing the seeds of the capsicum from the middle and creating an empty space.

 

The recipe is best enjoyed during the winter season. I personally like the spicy taste of the recipe and therefore I do not mind adding more chili powder in it. If you want, you can skip the chili powder part because that will make the recipe very spicy.

 

In case you do not have black olives at home, you can still manage cooking with the remaining ingredients.

 


Ingredients required to prepare the prepare spicy stuffed capsicum recipe –

  • 3 medium size deseeded capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 tbsp Mozzarella cheese
  • 100-gram paneer
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 boiled potato grated
  • half tablespoon sugar
  • Half tablespoon red chili powder
  • Half tablespoon red chili sauce
  • Salt

 

Step by step guide to preparing recipe –

  • Step 1 – Take oil in a Cooking Pan and let it heat.
  • Step 2 – Eventually add onion and cook them for a few seconds.
  • Step 3 – Now add the finely chopped garlic along with finely chopped green chilies, tomatoes, potatoes, paneer, and black olives. Let everything get mixed together.
  • Step 4 – Add spices like red chili powder, red chili ketchup, a little bit of sugar, oregano, fresh meat, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.

Mix everything together. Your filling is ready.

  • Step 5 – Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down.
  • Step 6 – While it cools down take medium sized Capsicum and cut them into two halves. Deseed the Capsicum using a knife and add some grated cheese in the empty space of the Capsicum along with the filling. The filling should not exceed the level of the Capsicum.
  • Step 7 – Place the capsicum on a baking tray and let it bake for 10 minutes at 110 degree Celsius.

If you do not have an oven, simply place the capsicum on a tava over the gas stove and cover it up using a utensil. The wonderfully baked Stuffed Capsicum recipe is ready to be devoured for lunch or dinner.

In case you do not have paneer at home, simply skip the step and continue with the remaining ingredients.

You can have the amazing recipe with Roti and dal in order to get a complete meal. The capsicum is generally quite boring because it does not easily mix up with other vegetables.

However, the Stuffed Capsicum recipe makes a perfect blend with onion, tomatoes, and potatoes thereby generating such a phenomenal recipe.

You can increase the quantity of Mozzarella cheese because that would add more flavor to the recipe. Also, preparing the Stuffed Capsicum recipe in the low flame will add more taste the filling.
