What are the ingredients required to prepare bread pakoda recipe at home –

The ingredients are simple and readily available at any home. There is nothing Complex about bread pakoda recipe at all. It is recommended to whisk the besan batter substantially or simply let it sit for one hour before dipping bread into it.

  • 175-gram potato or paneer
  • 2 Green Chili finely chopped
  • Salt
  • half tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • ΒΌ tablespoon garam masala
  • half cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • half tablespoon chat masala
  • 1 cup besan
  • One pinch baking powder
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • 5 piece whole wheat bread
  • Oil

Follow step by step guide to prepare bread pakoda recipe at home –

  • Step 1 – pressure cook potatoes and mash from paneer in a deep bowl.
  • Step 2 – add green chilli, amchur powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and chat masala.
  • Step 3 – mix everything well and adjust spices according to your personal taste. Keep everything aside and move on to the preparation of batter.

 

How to prepare the batter for bread pakora recipe?

The potatoes must be absolutely soft in order to bring added flavour to the bread pakoda recipe. Therefore, I do not recommend having bread pakora recipe without filling because it just doesn’t taste good. However, in case you are willing to prepare bread pakora recipe without stuffing simply dip the triangle shaped bread slices into the spicy batter. Fry the same and have hot with tea.

  • Step 1 – take basan in a bowl and add salt, Garam Masala, red chilli powder, asafoetida and water
  • Step 2 – mix everything together
  • Step 3 – slice the bread into a triangle shape and fill the mixture of potato or paneer in between two slices. Press the corners with your hand.
  • Step 4– dip the entire bread in besan batter.
  • Step 5 – Heat oil in a cooking vessel and fry the pakora until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Step 6 – After that, serve it hot with Ginger Chai and tomato ketchup.

Avoid using white bread and prefer brown bread in order to keep the recipe healthy. It takes a total of 40 minutes to prepare the spicy bread pakora recipe for 2 people. In case, you do not have enough paneer, simply add some mashed boiled potato to the grated Paneer. In addition, add spices of your choice. However, adding pudina Patta to the bread pakoda recipe also bring more flavour to it.
