How to prepare easy Khoya peda recipe?

 

Traditionally, khoya peda recipe is made out of mawa which is prepared after heating the milk for several minutes. After the milk has been dried and solid Residue is left, preparation of Peda is initiated.

 

Step by step guide to prepare milk Peda recipe-

 

  • Step 1 – Crush some nuts of your choice.
  • Step 2 – use cardamom powder for a better Aroma and also add saffron and rosewater for a better fragrance.
  • Step 3 – prepare Khoya by simmering the milk at low heat until it becomes semi solid.
  • Step 4 – add 125 grams of sugar in 200 grams of soya and mix the same very well on medium heat flame.
  • Step 5 – add milk and find the sugar melting. This is going to create a liquid consistency.
  • Step 6 – make sure that you keep on stirring the mixture until it becomes brown in colour.
  • Step 7 – take care that the product does not stick at all towards the side of the pan.
  • Step 8 – do not over cook the Peda but put them on a steel tray so that the molten mixture get solidified.
  • Step 9 – prepare Pedda out of the mixture.

How to prepare doodh peda?

 


Simply take some Khoya Peda balls and roll them in lukewarm milk. Hand press name with peda preser to create a distinct design. You can cook it a little bit for 2 – 3 minutes and make sure that it does not overcooks. Consume them after 8-12 hours.

 

Pro tips-

 

  • Double the quantity of milk if you wish to develop more Peda in future.
  • Prepare the Peda in low heat and keep on stirring it from time to time.
  • Do not overheat the mixture and keep it slightly wet so that it can get thick after some while.
