Recipe: Wheat Flour/Aate Ke Ladoo

How to prepare Gond ke laddu or wheat flour sweet balls?

The procedure of preparing the best winter desert is very easy and interesting. You need to begin the procedure by taking the following ingredients –

  • 250 gram wheat flour
  • 250 gram sugar
  • 50 gram tree gum
  • 15-20 crushed Almonds
  • 250 grams ghee

Step by step guide for preparing Gond ke laddu:

  • Step 1 – take a big pan and let it get warm after putting it on flame. Put 250 gram of wheat flour and 250 gram of ghee.
  • Step 2 – cook the mixture until it turns Brown. It will take around 20-30 minutes to cook the wheat flour in ghee.
  • Step 3 – put 50 gram of edible gum or tree gum in the mixture and cook for 10 more minutes. Also, put crushed cashews or almonds in the mixture.
  • Step 4 – after the mixture gets properly cooked, take a big vessel and upturn the entire mixture on it.
  • Step 5 – in a separate mixer grinder, prepare sugar powder by churning 250 grams of sugar.
  • Step 6 – mix the sugar in the hot mixture of flour and ghee to prepare laddu.
  • Step 7 – prepare round balls out of the mixture and store them for 2 months.

Pro tip

  • You can warm the balls in microwave for 10 seconds every time you consume them. This would melt the ghee and give a better take to the recipe.
