How To Prepare Batata Vada Recipe At Home In Just Few Steps

  • 1 cup besan
  • Oil
  • 6-7 curry patta

 

Follow the step by step guide to preparing batata vada recipe at home –

  • Step 1 – Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker
  • Step 2 – Roast some green chillies in a small pan and eventually let it cool down.
  • Step 3 – Add whole cumin seeds and garlic in roasted green chillies and crush everything using a mortar in order to prepare thecha.
  • Step 4 – Eventually Mash the potatoes and Add the thecha ( green chilli masala ) followed by salt in the same. Mix Everything very well
  • Step 5 – In a frying pan and add oil, turmeric powder, curry patta and Hing and mix everything well.
  • Step 6 – Add the potato mixture and club everything together.
  • Step 7 – add some chopped coriander leaves and cook the recipe for 5 minutes in low flame.. Cool down completely by keeping aside for some time.
  • Step 8 – Take some besan in a different vessel and add salt and water to prepare a thick batter.
  • Step 9 – take a deep frying pan and dip the potato boil into the basan mixture and fry it in the hot oil in medium flame.

Do not lower down the flame much because batata vada recipe will consume a lot of oil in that case. Keep the same medium so that the besan and potato are properly cooked.
