  • Step 1 – Upturn fresh cream in the food processor or deep vessel.
  • Step 2 – whip the cream until it starts thickening. Keep churning the mixture for 4 minutes and you will see the yellow coloured buttery solid. The cloudy liquid and solid part should separated while you whip the cream using the hand blender for electric machine.
  • Step 3 – once you see the liquid and the solid part getting separated, put some Ice cold water and you will see more butter milk on the top of the surface.
  • Step 4 – use sieve and Upturn the content on it.
  • Step 5 – liquid in the buttermilk shall get strained in the vessel whereas the solid part shall remain and the sieve itself.
  • Step 6– the remaining liquid is buttermilk that can be saved in the refrigerator. You can use the butter milk for marinating meat or baking.
  • Step 7 – squeeze the bottle solid in between your palm and make sure that there is no buttermilk in the solid part. If you don’t want the butter to the wet, make sure that you squeeze it very well in a clean towel.
  • Step 8 – you can store the butter in the refrigerator for 6 weeks. Have it with chapati or toast every morning and evening.
